ELECTRONIC WASTE RECYCLING RATES BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1, 2010
The following items will no longer be accepted for landfill but recycled through a program administered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Green County Landfill is a registered recycling unit for the following electronics:
COMPUTERS (desktop, laptop, netbooks and tablet computers)
DESKTOPS PRINTERS (Including those that fax, scan and/or copy)
COMPUTER MONITORS
FAX MACHINES
COMPUTER MICE & KEYBOARDS
OTHER COMPUTER ACCESSORIES (hard drives, speakers, flash drives and modems)
RATES FOR ALL THE ABOVE:
• Residential rate $.15/lb
• Commercial rate $.30/lb
TELEVISIONS:
• Residential rate $.20/lb
• Commercial rate $.40/lb.
For questions about all other materials accepted for disposal and the costs for disposal, please contact Green County Landfill at the above number. Some rates have changed over the last year.
