January 16, 2011 Tax Collection Information for 2010-2011
Town of Mt. Pleasant Tax Collection
I will be at the Monticello Village Hall, Council Room, 140 N. Main St., Monticello, WI to collect taxes and issue dog licenses on the following dates:
Thursday, December 30 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday, January 28 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday, January 29 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Monday, January 31 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
For any other time of payment, you must call me and schedule a time. If you are paying taxes by mail, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for receipt. Receipts will not be returned without a self-addressed stamped envelope enclosed. Credit card payments are accepted through the Green County website located at www.co.green.wi.gov and clicking on “pay taxes on line” Please note you will be charged a fee.
The Green County Clerk’s office will no longer issue dog licenses, so you will need to purchase them from me. I encourage you to get them during December and January for 2011. Dog license fees are $9.00 for natural and $4.00 for neutered or spayed. You must show me proof of rabies vaccination if it has expired since last year. It is requested that a separate check be given for a dog license. Any questions, please give me a call at 608-938-4217. Thank you.
