TOWN CAUCUS MINUTES
Monday, January 17, 2011
7:30 PM
American Legion Hall,
316 E. Coates Avenue
Monticello, WI.
Attendees: Sally Roe, Mike Gengler, Jerry Klassy, Susan Wetherington, Marlis Silver, Dan Karlen, Ed Riese, Bob Zurfluh, Craig Galhouse, Roger Brugger, Karen Brugger, Eric Henry, Marguerite Hill.
1. Town chair Sally Roe called the meeting to order at 7:32 pm.
2. Election/appointment of Caucus Chair: Ed Riese made the motion to make Dan Karlen caucus chair; Roger Brugger seconded the motion. Motion carried.
3. Election of caucus tellers: Roger Brugger made the motion to appoint Ed Riese and Karen Brugger as caucus tellers; Jerry Klassy seconded the motion. Motion carried.
4. Decision on voting procedure: Roger Brugger made the motion to use secret ballots for the caucus nominations; Karen Brugger seconded the motion. Motion carried.
5. Nominations for chair—

6. Nominations for 1st supervisor

9. Nominations for town treasurer

10. Candidates being notified by town clerk for the positions on the ballot are starred (*) above. Each candidate will have five days after the nomination papers are received to file their candidacy papers. Those not present at this meeting will be notified by certified letter.
11. Any Other Business/announcements: Roger Brugger made the motion for the clerk to destroy the caucus ballots; Eric Henry seconded the motion. Motion carried.
12. Adjournment: Ed Riese made the motion to adjourn the caucus; Karen Brugger seconded the motion. Motion carried. Caucus was adjourned.
