Special Board Meeting
Tuesday, April 6, 2010
American Legion Hall, Monticello, WI
Chairman Sally Roe called the meeting to order at 7:00pm. Those present included Sally Roe, Mike Gengler and Jerry Klassy.
The board discussed driveway permit application for Northern Natural Gas on Oliver Road. Sally Roe moved to approve the permit upon receipt of check for deposit and permit fee totaling $1,000.00. Mike Gengler seconded the motion. Motion carried. Sally asked Mike to call Nelson Malkow, whose property Northern Natural Gas’ easement is through, and make sure the property owner had no issues with this.
Road tour summary prepared by Mike was reviewed and discussion of 2010 roadwork followed. The board also reviewed budget and current amount available to spend on roads this year. Sally is going to talk to Jeff at the County Highway Department and have them shoot grades on Schneeberger Road along North end gravel area. Sally is also going to talk to Jeff at the County about prices on bridge approaches on Silver and Schneeberger Roads, options on grinding or patching Silver Road from Purintun Rd to bike trail and get a rough price on putting in culvert and raising road on Oliver Road in low spot near Spoerry Road.
Sally moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:45pm. Jerry seconded the motion. Motion carried, meeting adjourned at 8:45pm.
